FREE SPIRIT plays melodic hard rock with big sounds reflecting the nature, freedom and mighty scenery. This music captures listeners of all ages with the eternal melodies. The massive choruses and guitar sounds are the brand of Free Spirit from Finland.
a great story about a journey to freedom. The lyrics takes us naturally between the real world, dreams and illusions.
Pale Sister of Light is produced by Carpel Music and it will be released via Edel Records Finland on Feb 4, 2009. Other countries will follow.
FREE SPIRIT won the The Voice music-tv Garage Countdown –competition with the video "Until the Night". It was viewed over 82 000 times.
FREE SPIRIT is Sami Alho (vocals), Vesa Yli-Mäenpää (guitar) Pasi Koivumäki (drums) Marko Haapamäki (guitar) Sami Hämäläinen (bass) Timo Alho (keyboard).
Sami Alho and Pasi Koivumäki are the original founding members. Current line-up was formed in 2006 when the like-minded musicians found each other with the common musical goal.
During 2009 the band will work with a new video and the live performances. |
